Please join us for a late Friday afternoon of open conversations about a topic often seen as taboo. This in-person event will take place in West Norwood, where we'll gather to share stories, thoughts, and questions about death in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you're curious, scared, or just want to connect with others, this event is for you. Come sip on some coffee or tea, eat our homemade cake and let's chat about the one thing we all have in common. See you there!

They are life-affirming events, but sensitive discussions are of course possible so please bear this in mind. Participants in a recent cafe held in Camberwell described the gathering as 'welcoming, thought-provoking, supportive, positive, friendly, honest, safe, disinhibiting, helpful, clarifying, open and revealing'.

Everyone is welcome and the event is FREE, but please book a ticket in advance as places are limited. Reserve your place here

These are discussion groups rather than grief support or counselling sessions.

This cafe will be led by Ann Kenrick
Ann Kenrick OBE is former CEO of the Charterhouse almshouse, Head of Partnerships at The Farewell Guide non exec and volunteer at St Christopher's Hospice and founder of End of Life Matters, a venture supporting people of all ages to create End of Life plans giving them and those they love peace of mind.
