Sunday 6 October 11am - 3.30pm
Slow down and take a fresh look at the world around you.
Under the guidance of Ruth Davey, Founder and Director of Look Again, you will learn to take notice in the present moment and see the extraordinary in the ordinary using photography, mindfulness and walking to look again at your surroundings.
West Norwood Cemetery provides a calm and tranquil setting to explore themes such as colour, texture, light, reflection, growth, change and transition whilst creating photos. You will think about your relationship with the natural and built environment, rediscover your creativity and learn to see the world differently.
No previous experience of photography or mindfulness is required. The workshop is designed to be simple, low-tech and fun. Suitable for all ages and abilities, you don’t need a fancy camera or expensive equipment – any mobile phone, tablet or digital camera is fine.
Free to join but only a maximum number of 15 places available - Register online here

Ruth has 28 years experience as a project manager, facilitator, trainer, and coach in international, community and business development.
"I founded Look Again in 2012 to bring all my skills and interests together with photography to help improve the health and wellbeing of people and planet. Having used photography, mindfulness and walking in nature in my own recovery from mental health difficulties, I decided to put my experience to good use, and to build the next phase of my career collaborating with a wide range of clients to share my vision for a greener, fairer and healthier world. Clients include Canon, The National Trust, Kevin McCloud’s HabHousing, The Green Party, Gloucestershire County Council, Extinction Rebellion."
