It’s almost impossible not to feel good when we’re walking outdoors – it’s a natural mood-booster! And the great news is we don’t need to walk far or fast to feel its effects on our health and wellbeing. Simply getting out is a tonic for our minds and bodies, and it can be sociable too.
Almost all of us can manage a stroll, and Ramblers Wellbeing Walks make it easier to start walking and stay active. And you’ll certainly never be short of good company.
Every Wednesday you can join a local Ramblers Wellbeing Walk in West Norwood. The group walk is led by friendly, specially trained volunteers who are on hand to provide encouragement and support, and make sure no one gets left behind. The walk is short and over easy terrain and is open to everyone. The West Norwood walks visit our most central green space: West Norwood Cemetery and include some social history with a brief talk about a different grave or monument each week.
Where: meet at the West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre (reception area), 25 Devane Way, SE27 0DF.
