Wild Norwood: Winter Fairytales

6.30pm-8.30/9.00pm
As the finale event to the Wild Norwood FREE community festival this year, this extra special festive event will begin with a magical lantern lit walk through the cemetery (make your own lanterns at our Glowing Cemetery fair earlier the same afternoon), followed by winter fairytales by candle light in the chapel, then (weather permitting) star gazing through telescopes outside, before everyone is guided back to the cemetery gates.
This is completely FREE, but booking essential due to limited seats. Click on the headline for more info and the booking link ...

Magical festive evening for everyone, including families with children aged 5 and over, with storytelling performed by Sally Pomme Clayton.

Dress up in furs, follow the path through the trees, and gather under the fairy lights, as local writer and performer Sally Pomme Clayton takes us on an enchanted journey into the fairytale forest.

Hear about the girl made of the snow and find out how she helps deliver our Christmas presents. Join two bold sisters, Snow White and Rose Red, as they trick a greedy goblin and set the bear King free. Shelter from the snow in a mysterious house, as invisible hands spread a winter feast. But who really lives here?

Pomme is a wonderful storyteller who weaves spells with words, sounds, songs and special objects from cow bells to a teeny tiny house! Join in with actions as we tramp through the snow and throw snowballs! Sing a Swedish carol and learn a speedy drum rhythm. These snowy stories will fill you with the magic of Christmas!

Please book a ticket for everyone in your group who needs a seat (seating is limited) BOOK YOURS HERE

"One of the country's most highly regarded storytellers...she awakens the imagination of the audience." The Independent.
“Some people are born to entertain - Sally Pomme Clayton has that magic in plenty, she is a dream-weaver, a spell-binder.”
