The cemetery is the last resting place of, among others, Mrs Beeton, author of the seminal manual on household management, Paul Julius Reuter, founder of the eponymous news agency, Henry Tate, the art gallery patron, and Thomas Letts, who popularised the diary.

Join Robert Stephenson for a torch-lit evening walk through the cemetery's most cherished and surprising monuments, which will lead you to the newly-restored St Stephen’s chapel, where you can chill by candle-light to eerie stories of the supernatural told by Giles Abbott.

Robert Stephenson is a qualified City of London Culture and Heritage guide and a trustee at Kensal Green and Brompton cemeteries. He teaches on London and death studies. Robert is also chairman of the National Federation of Cemetery Friends.
