Christmas in the Chapel - a family choir concert

Please join us for an early Christmas matinée with West Norwood and Crystal Palace Community Choirs. The Choirs will be singing a blend of classic Christmas tunes and other songs, and the venue is the beautiful St Stephen's Chapel, West Norwood Cemetery. This will be a really unique afternoon - families most welcome - a lovely way to start the holiday celebrations.

Time: 2pm-4pm
Venue: St Stephen's Chapel, West Norwood Cemetery, Norwood Road, London SE27 9JX
Please allow 15mins to walk from the Cemetery main entrance on the corner of Robson Road and Norwood Road to St Stephen's Chapel.
The Chapel is fully accessible and there is also an accessible toilet. 
Please wrap up warm.

Refreshments will be available in this wonderfully restored space, and there may even be some audience participation!

Children 10yrs and under are free. Please reserve a free ticket for them as seats are limited.
All profits will be donated to the Friends of West Norwood Cemetery, so please consider a top up donation to the £5 ticket price if you are able to do so.

West Norwood Community choir is open to everyone, whether you're an experienced group singer or have never sung before. The choir meets weekly on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9pm in the upper hall at St Luke’s Church, West Norwood (entrance opposite The Horns Tavern - up the slope and through the upper door). Crystal Palace Community Choir is open to all ages and abilities. They sing in parts with sheet music and meet every Tuesday, 8pm – 930 pm upstairs at the Goodliffe Hall on Highland Rd SE19 1DP next to Christ Church, Gipsy Hill. 
A free session is offered to anyone who would like to try the choir, no auditions necessary. They sing a variety of songs: genres include madrigals, show tunes, pop and jazz. They like to keep busy with events in our local community and this Christmas season have sung at the opening of the new Orleans Smoke House in Upper Norwood, and look forward to Carol singing in Wakefield Gardens and in the pub.
