We will be on the grass near the cemetery entrance. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on.
The King with Dirty Feet
Take off your shoes, wiggle your toes in the long grass and enjoy a captivating story from local storyteller and author Sally Pomme Clayton.
This interactive, funny and joyful storytelling performance is perfect for all children and their families.
The king has not had a bath and is starting to smell. When the king finally bathes in the river he can't get his feet clean. Come and help solve the problem of the king's dirty feet And find out about a brilliant invention - and the importance of dirt! Pomme brings her tale to life with musical sounds, gestures and lots of joining in! The story lasts about 30 minutes and takes place on grass - bring a blanket to sit on.
The performance is based on Pomme’s book ‘The King with Dirty Feet’ (Otter-Barry Books 2021/ 2018) winner of 'The Oxford Book Award best picture book 2019
